So what could I say about an African American Leader?

       Well basically, The African American leader I would like to high light is none other than Chris Rock. Now I know what you're thinking. "Chris Rock isn't a leader!" "Who has he ever helped!" Well the answer to that question is ME!

        You see not alot of people acknowledge the fact that Rock not only brings comedy but also brings a message. Chris Rock has a way of talking about issues in a way that everybody can understand. Racism, classism, African-American culture, American Politics, current events, marriage, pop culture. These are all things that Chris Rock SMOOTHLY acknowledges in a cool manner. These are topics that everyday leaders are faced with and seek reaction from. Normal, eh?

         Also, Chris Rock stands as a symbol. Having a background story similar to many people around Richmond and all over the country. The good thing is, he was able to make something of himself. He comes from a background that ALOT of us can understand. How many of us have worked at The Red Lobster waiting for change to come to us!

         So, in conclusion, Chris Rock in my opinion is definitely a leader. Just a different brand. Just like A&W Root Beer at the corner store is just "Root Beer."
