He’s remembered today as someone who has affected our country as we know it.Martin Luther King Jr. opened our eyes to see reality.He led the civil rights movement which was a step towards trying to stop segregation of African Americans and Caucasians.He led the March on Washington where he delivered his “I Have A Dream” speech.In it he says”I have a dream that one day…little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls and walk together as sisters and brothers.”He took a stand and brought change that allows us today to drink from the same fountains,sit either in the front of the bus or the back,allows us to learn in the same schools together.We are allowed to be in the same vicinity with each other and not hate the others existence.He is an example of how we shouldn’t try to stop violence with violence but instead with peace and unity.Taking steps toward this goal that he reached.He had this dream that he has now made reality.
