sorry its been awhile since my last entry. its been 49 days now since my last drink. i received my 30 day chip a few weeks ago at a birthday meeting. every month A.A gives out birthday chips (coins) to everyone who is celebrating a "sobriety birthday". So i got a sponsor. A sponsor is someone who has worked and has a clear understanding of the "12 steps". They usually have at least a few years of sobriety and by "sponsoring" someone they help a new comer through the steps just as their sponsor helped them. This is the foundation on which A.A rests. Its been two weeks since my last drink. Hi, my name is Erin and i am an alcoholic.
